Antenatal/Childbirth Education

You are best to start your Antenatal Classes when you are approx 28-32 weeks' pregnant (depending on course timing). Please choose the class starting closest to this.

These programme's are fully funded, therefore FREE, and are located at 22a Taylor Street, Cambridge, New Zealand.

Class Schedule

  • Weekend, 19th & 20th March, 9am to 3.30pm
  • Tuesdays, 12th April to 17th May, 7pm to 9pm
  • Weekend, 11th & 12th June, 9am to 3.30pm

Parents Centre + St. John's Child First Aid Course

This half-day course is ideal for people who are looking after children in their own home or for those needing to renew their Child First Aid certificate.  

Please note: We have been advised by St Johns that due to this course being NZQA accredited and assessments are done, Babies & Children cannot attend.  Breast fed babies can be dropped in for feeding but otherwise have to leave again.

  • Recommended for parents, grandparents and other family caregivers
  • Recognised qualification for home-based educators and nannies
  • 4.5 hour course,
  • Eligible for NZQA unit standard 25459

This course is FREE and will be run on a Saturday 9am to 1.30pm
